FAQ&A

Q. Will my loved ones ashes and hair locks be kept separately and treated with respect at all times?

A. This is the most important part of our business. We take having your loved one in our care very seriously. All ashes and hair are clearly made identifiable and only one person's ashes are ever handled at any one time. We have the utmost respect for all the families we deal with and a candle will burn for the entire sealing process of both ashes and hair only once ashes and hair are safely resting in peace will the candle be extinguished for your loved one.

Q. I don't have a photo small enough for the locket..........what do I do.

A. This is not a problem we will photo edit and reduce your photos or letters to your love one to fit. If you only have an original you can scan and email it to us and if you are not able to do that we will scan it for you.

Q. Will I be able to see the ashes?

A. No the ashes will be safely sealed behind the photos you have chosen for your locket. If you choose to be able to see the ahses please let Sue-Ella Signatures know and we will work out with you to create what you are after and according to your wishes.

Q. Will I be able to see the hair locks?

A. Yes generally we place hair locket over your chosen photo or image. This is sealed watertight with a glass look finish.

Q. Will I be able to open my locket once the hair and ashes are sealed?

A. Yes your locket will function just like any other locket and you will be able to see your loved ones photo or any other memento you have chosen to have sealed into your locket.

Q. If you take my loved ones fingerprint what will it be made of?

A. The fingerprint will be taken as a very soft rubber mould. This is then transferred to fine silver in any shape or form you like.

Q. My baby was born sleeping and not at full term. Can you please help me?

A. Of course we specialize in pregnancy loss. As much as we wish we did not ever have the occasion to have to do it we are able to take your babies handprint and recreate that into fine silver. Our youngest baby was 12 weeks gestation and his hand and footprints can be seen on the handmade page of our website. Summer and Emerson on the same page were born sadly at 25 weeks gestation and their handprints were captured in a dog tag for their Dad. These images are on our website with the permission of the family so that we can maybe one day help another family by knowing what is possible. Please phone us direct if you are ever in this situation this is an extremely terrible time for families and we will talk you though anything we can do to help.
